Random Thoughts

Greetings Everyone. Not much has been happening in the Youngblood family. We have been busy with the same old stuff.... gym, Caroline's nap, me in school, 1st grade homework, dinner and bed. School has consumed any spare time I might have had. Well, I have managed to get my butt to the gym everyday. I have come to enjoy my workouts now. After I had Caroline, I could not get motivated to hit the gym. However, about 3 weeks ago I started taking a class and I love it. It has kicked MY BUTT, but I have come to enjoy the 30 straight jump squats and traveling lunges that make my muscles ache so badly!
On another note-I took the kids to the park the other so they could feed the ducks and play. I also thought I could get a super cute picture of the three kids, but failed miserably. It was so cold and windy and the ducks and the bread were such a distraction. Scroll down to see some pictures of the park experience. *i decided not to post the picture of the 3 kids, because CC had a terrible runny nose*

Halloween Night

This Halloween we went to Dane & Kirsten's house for a Halloween party. It was a blast. Here are the pics.....

The boys had to be just like their dad, so we had to do 3 Shaggy's, a Velma & a Daphne. CC did at one time have a small Scooby-Doo she was carrying around, but it got lost somewhere along the way. If you were wondering what is behind her glasses, it is black paint where I painted black circles around her eyes for fake glasses... just in case she would not keep the real glasses on. However, she did great with the glasses and the headband.

The night BEFORE Halloween we went trick or treating at Kroger's. I know what you are thinking... Kroger's??? Well, I promised the boys they could dress up in anything they wanted to the night BEFORE Halloween, just as long as they were what I wanted them to be on Halloween. (I figured this was the last year I could pull off a family theme) So, here is what they picked....

So, we thought this would be a good idea...

I thought it would make the cutest picture. Well, it did... but just not what I had in mind. I tried giving CC a piece of candy, but as you can see by the drool on her face IT DID NOT WORK. Again, not a good idea!
