The other day Cameron was looking at our blog and became upset, because I had not posted enough pictures of him. So, I had him pick his favorite pictures of himself and here is what he choose.

The Happy Trio
I love my kids so much!!! I have been blessed with three beautiful kiddos and I am thankful for everyday I get to spend with them. I can be having the gloomiest day, but when I see them my whole world lights up. They love me unconditionally and that feels GREAT. Not to mention, they think I am the coolest MOM in the world. I love being a mother!
Pictures that make me smile:
Caroline's wild hair (greeted every night at 2 am with this look)...
Cameron's Art Work...
Jake, always asking for a cookie,a piece of cake or some type of dessert...
And did I mention how hard it is to try and take a picture of three kiddos and get them to look at the camera at the same time? Gotta love them!
Take One:
Please leave Caroline alone and look forward!
Take Two:
Jake, please stop moving!
Take Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven.... If only we could see Cameron!
Last Take:
We Give Up...
THE END

Food and Fun...
Last night we had the sister missionaries over for dinner, along with the other Youngblood gang. It was a great night! After dinner, the youngsters decided to change their clothes and become super heroes. I was able to capture this picture of Jake and Sydney showing off there big Ninja Turtle muscles. I think they are the coolest turtles around!

Tribute to President Gordon B. Hinckley
June 23, 1910-January 27, 2008
“Believe in Jesus Christ, our Savior and our Redeemer, the Son of God, who came to earth and walked the dusty roads of Palestine-the Son of God-to teach us the way of truth and light and salvation, and who, in one great and glorious act offered an atonement for each of us. He opened the way of salvation and exaltation for each of us, under which we may go forward in the Church and kingdom of God. Be not faithless, but believe in the great and wonderful and marvelous blessings of the Atonement.”
( “Selections from Addresses of President Gordon B. Hinckley,” Ensign, Mar. 2001, 64.)

Hooray for No School Monday...
Monday was a great day, because Cameron was out of school. And as everyone knows we love it when Cameron gets to be off and spend the day with us!!! To celebrate no school, we had a sleep over on Sunday. The kids enjoyed staying up to wee hours of the night playing Cars on the PlayStation. I tried to get everyone excited about Pac Man, but no such luck and no competitive players out there! The next morning we headed to Mary Jo Peckham park and had fun feeding the ducks and playing on the playground. We are so glad the other Youngblood family has moved down here to Texas. We have enjoyed having the girls around and spending time as a "BIG" family. Hope you enjoy the pics of our Park visit. P.S. It was freezing outside, so there is only one pic of Caroline.

Yummy.....
Thanks to our friends the Paskett's, I have discovered a great website that makes me want to cook!!!! Yes, I said cook. As most everyone knows, Dusty is the cook in our family. As my boys will tell you, "Daddy is the best cooker" and "Mommy is a good sandwich maker". However, lately I have wanted to start cooking. I think it is because of this great website, thepioneerwomancooks.com. It has pictures of the food and goes step by step so even me, the worst cooker, can't mess up. I have not tried making anything off of this website yet but, the cookie dough & candy dessert looks delicious. This week I have made a hit with the boys by making wildberry muffins and the youngblood egg scramble. Happy Cooking Everyone!!

Eight and Counting...
On January 8, Dusty and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. This year, we decided to stay at home and enjoy spending time with our kiddos. We had a nice dinner as a family and then put the kids to bed early. Then Dusty and I stayed up late having a Pac Man tournament. Needless to say, I WON!!!! When it comes to Pac Man I have to say I rule!!! I am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband, bestfriend, and chef. He is also the best father in the world. I could not ask for more. I love you sweetie!!!
The First Day Back At School...
Our family blog is finally up and running, Yeah!!! One new years resolution completed. Well, Cameron started back to school last Monday and Dusty and I were pretty sad. We have enjoyed spending these past 2 weeks with him while he was on break. The first day back, I think Cameron was pretty sad too. He begged Dusty to pick up him up early from school. We finally caved in, picked him up and took him for lunch. Thanks to Dane & Kirsten we were able to go to the Rainforest Cafe. The boys had a blast!!! Afterwards, Cameron climbed the rockwall. He did so good. He has never been afraid of heights and it looks like he will be our future firefighter. Jake on the other hand, passed on the rockwall and decided to eat a cookie instead. Maybe he will be our chef oneday (just like his daddy)!
