I'm a Dancer. Yes, I am!

Here are the final pictures of Miss Caroline in her ballet outfit. I was too cheap to purchase pictures from the dance photographer, so I grabbed Cee Cee and we headed to one of the workout rooms at the Y for a little one on one photo time. Besides, I prefer my action shots...I mean it's not everyday I can capture Cee Cee making silly faces at herself in the mirror. Not to mention the wicked cool workout equipment in the background of the pictures.

Here are the pictures from Cee Cee's big night of dance...see previous post for the video.

Cee Cee usually likes everyone, but for some reason, she just couldn't bond with this little girl. Cee Cee would always tell me "I don't want my hair like hers!" I'm not sure what the deal was with that.

After the dance performance, we went out to eat at La Finca Mexican Restaurant. Cee Cee got the Tangled doll she had been requesting.

For now, we are taking a break from ballet. From the mouth of Cee Cee "Dance is boring Mom!"

Easter...finally

Caroline and Daddy were busy in the kitchen making Easter Bunny cookies. Caroline loves helping out in the kitchen!

Now time for decorating the Easter Bunny cookies:

Swimming in our "mini" pool. The kids love being outside and in the water...no matter the size of the pool.

Favorite items brought by the Easter Bunny...

Easter Bunny sandwiches for lunch topped with banana ears and eyes, along with a strawberry nose and mouth.

The mess after the making of the Bunny cookies...

Cinco De Mayo

We spent Cinco De Mayo hanging out with our friends, the Perales Family. They always know how to throw the best parties. They have 3 kids like us, and two of their kiddos are in Cameron and Jake's class. Caroline has a crush on their little boy, Chance, and thinks Mylie, their youngest, is super cool.

Girls, Glitz, and Glamour Performance

*make sure you pause the music on the right side of the blog, so you can hear the dance performance music.*

Caroline had her first dance performance this past Friday. She did an awesome job and we are so proud of her. I think she was born to be on the stage, because for the past 2 months all she has done is complain to Dusty and I that dance is boring! She usually stands around and picks her nose in class, but come stage time she was all smiles, kisses, and waves! She is such a blessing in our lives and we love her so much!
