Bowling

Back in December of 2009 it snowed!!!! We let the boys skip school that day, in hopes they would see the snow when it fell. They did see the snow and they loved every bit of it. That morning, before most of the snow fell, we took the kids bowling. Cameron and Jake had a BLAST! Here are a ton of pictures (all for my blog book) to capture a fun family memory....

While we were bowling most of the snow was falling! However, we were able to run outside and play for a couple of minutes....bowling shoes and all!

Catching Up on Life

My blog has suffered these past couple of weeks. The fall semester of school ended for me in December and I haven't seemed to catch up on life. I know I did some relaxing during the month break, but I just can't seem to remember it. So, the next couple of posts are going to be memories that we created in December of 2009. Also, on my to do list, is to finally make this blog into a book. So, bare with the outdated photos.

I need ideas!

For the past year I have had a rustic red vase that held fake flowers. A year ago they were pretty..... or at least I thought so. However, my darling husband and kids think they are ugly and we need to upgrade. The men of the household have been pretending to throw them away for the past couple of months. After finding the flowers stuck between my refrigerator and the wall this morning I am up for ideas. I need help. So, if anyone is out there and is up for sharing I am willing to listen......

Today

Today it SNOWED in Houston!!!! Life couldn't get any better! We let the boys skip school today and we went bowling and then decorated our Christmas tree. I will post pictures soon of our day.

Halloween

This Halloween we went Trick or Treating with the York Family and our newest friends, the Beene Family. This was the BEST HALLOWEEN ever! We had a blast hanging out with the adults while our kids played. It was a great evening.

The Swing

Yesterday we spent the day hanging out with Papa EJ at Grandpa Dusek's house. My grandpa passed away recently and visiting his house brought back a lot of memories from when I was a little girl. Caroline has never been to my grandpa's house, so it was nice to capture some pictures of her running around in his yard and sitting in the swing that I used to enjoy as a kid.
