Our Christmas Tree

Last week it snowed here and the kids were thrilled!!! It was the perfect day for us. Cold, a little rainy, a little snow, decorating the Christmas tree and drinking hot cocoa. We could not ask for more!!! I just love cold weather.

I love it. Dusty on the other hand wants to have something special up there. Something with meaning. He has been saying this for 8 years now. I guess he is still searching. Any suggestions?

This picture was taken on Thanksgiving Day this year of Caroline and my Dad. This picture means so much to me, because Caroline never wants to hang out with my dad. However, on Thanksgiving day Caroline went right up to my dad, gave him a hug and pointed to the cows in the pasture. I was able to snag this picture of them walking towards the pasture. It just melts my heart every time I look at it.

So, in the last post I said I have been working out for 3-4 weeks now. Well, today I weighed myself and I haven't lost any weight!!! Then it hit me tonight why I haven't. As I snuggled up on the couch this evening, I realized the bag of ....

Random Thoughts

Greetings Everyone. Not much has been happening in the Youngblood family. We have been busy with the same old stuff.... gym, Caroline's nap, me in school, 1st grade homework, dinner and bed. School has consumed any spare time I might have had. Well, I have managed to get my butt to the gym everyday. I have come to enjoy my workouts now. After I had Caroline, I could not get motivated to hit the gym. However, about 3 weeks ago I started taking a class and I love it. It has kicked MY BUTT, but I have come to enjoy the 30 straight jump squats and traveling lunges that make my muscles ache so badly!
On another note-I took the kids to the park the other so they could feed the ducks and play. I also thought I could get a super cute picture of the three kids, but failed miserably. It was so cold and windy and the ducks and the bread were such a distraction. Scroll down to see some pictures of the park experience. *i decided not to post the picture of the 3 kids, because CC had a terrible runny nose*

Halloween Night

This Halloween we went to Dane & Kirsten's house for a Halloween party. It was a blast. Here are the pics.....

The boys had to be just like their dad, so we had to do 3 Shaggy's, a Velma & a Daphne. CC did at one time have a small Scooby-Doo she was carrying around, but it got lost somewhere along the way. If you were wondering what is behind her glasses, it is black paint where I painted black circles around her eyes for fake glasses... just in case she would not keep the real glasses on. However, she did great with the glasses and the headband.
