Ike survivors

Hey everyone!

We survived 4 days without power, but we are ALIVE!!!!
Our house had no damage and
we are so thrilled to have
AC!!!!

6 hours out

Here are some pictures that I took about 7 o'clock this evening outside of my house. Hurricane Ike is about 6 hours out.

Well, it is the evening before the storm and we are waiting with much anticipation like everyone else. Hopefully, it will be just a bunch of hype. The kids can't wait to use their flashlights and play games, however if we never lose power that will be fine with me. Here are some pictures of us preparing for the storm and just chilling around the house.
(Please excuse Jake's hat. He is really not that ghetto!!)

Ike is suppose to make landfall around 1 am, which will be Jake's 5th birthday. So, just in case we don't have power for awhile.... Happy Birthday Jake!!!!! We surprised him this morning with his favorite, donuts. Which do you like more...the crazy hair or the crazy eyes?

And here are the boys jumping on our sofa. As you can tell we are bored and our furniture rules have gone out the window. So, we unleashed the tigers.....
