Birthday Boy

Jake was super surprised when he saw his name on the marquee at school! I made him jump out of the car on our way to football practice for a quick picture.  Happy 9th Birthday Jake! 

9!

Jake turned 9 last month (yes, it was a month of a lot of birthdays!). I can't believe this handsome guy is 9. Where has time gone? He is such a sweet and caring kid!

37!

Red turned the big 37 last month! We celebrated by going to Niko Niko's for some Greek food and then over to the Chocolate Factory for dessert. The kids were in candy heaven at the Chocolate Factory. They have every kind of candy and cake imaginable! We had the Uncle Daryl's cake and the "junkyard" ice cream (has every kind of candy bar mixed into the vanilla ice cream). For Red's birthday gift, we got him a new work bag filled with items like deodorant, body wash, AXE spray, toothpaste, and a bunch of other goodies.

Happy Birthday to Me!

A few weeks ago, I turned the big 32 and the hubby let me pick out my gift! An Acura TL fully loaded!  It's the bomb!  I call the new ride, Snow White...and Dusty's truck, the Beast.



My sister-in-law brought over this bad boy.... It was so freakin YUMMY!!!!

The kids surprised me with gift cards to the Olive Garden and Papas BBQ. Dusty and I grabbed lunch at the Yard House. It was so fantastic. We had the tacos and they were simply delicious. I highly recommend this place! I also got my hair done. I decided to bring in some dark highlights and get rid of the bright blond. Not many people could tell, but my kids could! And to me that is all that matters! Here is me after leaving the salon....yep, I took my own pic! HA!

American Girl Doll

Well, we made it to the American Girl Doll store a few weeks ago.  Let's just say, Caroline scored!!! That place is a little girl's dream!  In fact, Dusty and I were on cloud 9 in the store (not at the register though-just kidding!).
Caroline has been wanting the McKenna doll, along with all of her snazzy outfits, since her birthday. McKenna has become our 4th child and gets the royal treatment everyday.
