I couldn't resist taking this picture of Pug. I feel sorry for him, because Caroline is always taking his water bowl away. Poor Pug!

Do you need a Translator?

When my wonderful husband accepted his mission call to the Canada Montreal Mission, he had no idea that learning French would ever pay off except for teaching people about the church. Well, last week he took a language proficiency test for the City of Houston to be qualified as a French translator for the Fire Department. (Who knew?) He passed easily and he is so awesome. Not to mention the extra $150 a month he gets for being bi-lingual, which he will surely give to me. Dusty, you’re the best and je me souviens!

For The Night

In my opinion, the best vacation is the one where you leave on the spur of the moment. You pack your bags, grab a few snacks, and then out the door. Whether it be for one night or more, it is always a fun adventure!

Today, we packed our bags and headed to the bay house for the night. We spent the day at the beach and plan on watching Benjamin Button after the kids finally pass out.

Here are some pictures of our exciting day at the beach. Caroline was hesitant of the water and sand at first, but quickly realized how much fun her brothers were having and gave in.

Fun in the Sun

Today while Cameron was at school we joined the Tristan family at the YMCA pool.

Caroline and Jake had a blast. Here they are before we left the house. Caroline totally avoids the camera now. Can you tell?

This is what happens when I get busy folding laundry..... Craziness!!

What am I going to do with these 2? They are so wild together..... but the best of buds. I would not change anything.
